Super Killer Monster Wizzardman (?)

Before I announce something, sorry for my late absence, been busy with some college stuff, especially with exam retakes happening on September, I didn't even find myself some time to work on some of the projects - including the Cat Hero game. My old project file was lost with the old laptop that I recently lost on May. I managed to get myself a new one and be more careful with it as I start everything from scratch. At least I hope I will begin to work on something as soon as I pass these exam retakes.

Anyways, inspired by this old Polish video made on April Fools (which by the way can be subtitled, but you gotta translate it to English), I thought I could announce something that I can work on in the meantime while I will work on Cat Hero game:

Working Title "Super Killer Monster Wizzardman" (or in Japanese: スーパーキラー怪物 魔法使い人 ["Super Killer Kaibutsu Mahoutsukaijin"])

Also, looking for some people that can help me redesign the spritework, compose some music and help me with gameplay design for this game.

Story is simple - kill the monsters that threat your beautiful land and find the mysterious talisman that can bring peace to the world.

Date of development beginning: October 2023
Date of release: Still unknown (will probably be announced after the release of Cat Hero game, but probably somewhere in 2025 or 2026)

The picture attached is the supposed label for a Famiclone cartridge, yes, also in fashion of old bootleg cartridges sold at bazaars.

UPDATE: The project has been green lighted by the creator of the video I mentioned earlier. I think I will continue my work on it, however I still need help with it. If someone wants to help me, please hit me up on Discord.

Why do you need any "green light" by that youtuber?
The Witcher is not his IP. And you're not using any assets from him.
If you want to ask someone, the only people you should contact is the Witcher rights' owner.

I wasn't planning on making a Witcher game. I was only intending to make a "Super Killer Kaibutsu Mahoutsukaionna" game, not a "Witcher" game.
I know if I want to make a Witcher game, I'd contact Sapkowski himself.

I do understand your point, but as I said, it was going to be something original inspired by this April Fools video.

I hope this doesn't come across too negative. I like your entusiasm and you seem willing to learn things but I'm not sure anyone would put this amount of time into something that's your vision alone. Sounds like you want to project manage instead of taking on at least one aspect of the game development fully (which might encorage more people to get involved). Just thinking out loud realistically about how much time people want to give outside of their own projects.

You're right. Maybe it's better off if I'll delay this big project (it didn't have an announced date anyways) and focus on some simple ones that could be easy to do by one person.

Nah, it didn't come negative. I appreciate your honesty.
Yeah, maybe if I start small (Cat Hero and some other small games for that matter), then will continue with something big (Super Monster Killer Wizzardman), maybe this will work.
