i got decently far but level 3 is imposible for me, since the skulls just wont let me kill them if i get hit once

I like the added 'watch out!' cutscene idea before bosses.
Tbh I didn't notice the overlap thing in gameplay or the facing monster to hurt. I always seemed to face the victims instinctively when playing.
Didn't notive the slow down either.

I really enjoyed playing it. The only thing I found frustrating is the speed of shark, if it was tweeked slightly higher so that instead of thinking "oh, i definately cant get to that guy in time" to "I might be able to get to that guy in time". I hope that makes sense. It's not a lot, just enough to make victims far apart seem more achievable.

Same here. I was a bit confused by the skulls. I seemed to be able to get free sometimes but not others. It would be cool if you had to button mash or something to get free. A bit like a wrestling game.
I thought of a cool background. You could have a TV showing Shark Week.

@Jonny - Ooo that's a good idea about notching up the shark speed just a tad. I'll mess around with that. EDIT: For personal notes.. original speed was 19.. trying 23.

One of the only times they overlap is if you kill a skull and the runner runs through you.. I think I noticed it elsewhere too but i'll have to check. EDIT: If you attack high & miss it does it too.

Sorry about the skulls. i'll experiment with your idea of mashing the buttons like WWF WrestleFest! If not.. maybe i'll just make them disappear when they hit/hurt you. The game was getting easy to me and since it's only 4 levels I wanted a little bit of difficulty... but If it's too frustrating for people, they wont want to play!

Hahhaa like a background in the level next to the weapons and stuff? That's pretty funny!

I appreciate you guys downloading and the constructive critcism!

Ok! @Jonny & @Logana ... New beta rom HERE.

Updated the shark speed. Went from 19 to 23. Much nicer. Hope that helps you out. Also fixed just a couple bugs that I scratched off in that most recent post with a check off list.

Also updated all other beta rom links in here to match this link.. and updated pictures on first post. Okay, i'm out for now.

@Logana Proud of you!!! If you press start on that screen, it’ll go to the next screen where it’ll show you your score. I’ll have to put “press start” on that that screen or a timer.

Also before every boss I have added a screen that says “WATCH OUT!” That gives you a nice little warning.

Added a "WATCH OUT!" screen before every boss. I think it breaks it up nicely. The screen is still a work in progress just wanted it there. Might change colors or have it flash somehow.

Thank you! Still deciding if it's the final colors. Went through a bunch of fonts until I realized I wanted it to match the title font :)

Killed two birds with one stone. Fixed it now that the player has to be facing the monster to hurt it.. and now they wont overlap because if they collide the monster will reverse direction. Yay!

Now to figure out what in the world is causing this glitch before my game over screen randomly sometimes:
